Program Description:
Offers educational programs and literature on lung disease. Sponsors Better Breathers' Club, quit-smoking groups, and school programs. National number routes to local branches. National web site at www.lung.org has an A-Z directory of lung diseases. National help line is staffed by Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses who can provide information on lung cancer, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, allergies, smoking cessation and environmental health.
