Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2PM to 5PM
Eligibility: Age 62+, or mobility disability if applying for handicapped-accessible unit. Income below 50% of Wake County median ($26,600 for one person or $30,400 for two).

Program Description:

Subsidized senior housing owned by Roanoke Housing Development Corp. 32 "garden-style" units; 4 are modified for persons with mobility impairments. Tenants must be age 62+, or mobility-disabled (for handicapped-accessible units). RFS Service Coordinator available, and grocery transportation is provided twice per month. Wait list is approximately 12-15 months. Households below 30% of median income may qualify for priority on wait list.
