Eligibility: At least one occupant must be age 55 or older; household must meet income guidelines- $33,600 for singles and $38,400 for couples.
Fees: Rents are $374 and up.

Program Description:
Affordable housing complex for those age 55+. 96 units. One- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include fitness room, computer room, beauty salon, craft room, movie room, library, common kitchen and dining area, and laundry facilities. Handicapped-accessible apartments available. Residents' income must be lower than 60% of area median ($33,600 for singles and $38,400 for couples); lower limits apply for some units. Minimum income limits also apply. Section 8 vouchers are accepted. Small pets allowed. There is a bus stop for the Wake Forest Loop at the entrance to the complex. Located in Wakefield development, just south of Wake Forest. From I-540, take Capital Blvd/ US 1 North exit. Go 6 miles, turn left on New Falls of Neuse. Turn left on Common Oaks Dr. Wakefield Manor is ahead on right.
