Primarily serves Wake County's Jewish population. Refers the severely and persistently mentally ill and emergency cases after providing initial screening by telephone or face-to-face. Short-term therapy (primarily supportive counseling) available by appointment. Fees are on a sliding scale, with some insurance accepted. Senior services involve helping families relocate their parents to the area, providing information and referral to appropriate resources, helping with the transition to assisted living, and helping cope with the effects of failing health. A comprehensive care management program is also available. Support groups for Holocaust survivors and their children, and for caregivers, are also available. Some financial assistance is available based on need.
