Provides food, shelter, clothing, and senior social program; also operates a thrift store. **Note: No longer offers financial assistance. Food Pantry provides food bags to individuals & families on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00PM. May call for an appointment anytime Monday-Friday, 8-5. Participants receive 1-3 bags of groceries and may receive food assistance once every 3 months. Must show Wake County photo ID, and some form of ID for ALL household members. Soup Kitchen provides hot meals Monday-Friday from 5:00PM until 6:00 PM. Open to all members of the community. Shelter now at Capital Blvd location offers 34 beds for women with children only. Call Centralized Intake to be placed on the wait list. Clothing Closet provides clothing on Fridays at 8:30AM. Appointments made each Monday morning at 8:00AM for Friday the same week. Must show Wake County photo ID, and some form of ID for ALL household members. Each person may receive 10 items of clothing per visit with a maximum of 40 items per family.
