Intake Process: Apply through WCHS with information about income, assets and all personal data.

Program Description:

A federally-funded program that provides a one-time payment to help eligible families pay their heating bills. All checks are sent directly to the energy provider, not to the client. There is no automatic approval for eligibility--all individuals must apply. Please Note: Applications for 2015–2016 heating season will begin December 1, 2015, and end March 31, 2016, or until funds are exhausted. Applications are accepted at the main WCHS office in Raleigh and also at the regional centers in Fuquay-Varina, Wake Forest, and Zebulon.
