Program Details

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Eligibility: Elderly, disabled, and low-income families
Fees: None
Intake Process: Call WCHS and ask for Energy Assistance, or contact Denise Kissel at (919) 212-7083.
Service Area: Wake County residents

Program Description:

Offers emergency financial aid with any heating source. Can help with heat utility bills up to $300/year, or can supply wood if that is how the home is heated. Program may also have donated space heaters available for clients in need. Call Wake County Human Services and ask for the Energy Assistance Program.
