Program Description:

The Eldercare Locator is a public service of the Administration on Aging, U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, and is administered by the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging. Eldercare Locator provides information and referral services: have ready your county, city name, or zip code and a brief description of the help you are seeking. The web site allows you to enter your zip code and get a listing of the local, regional, and state agencies that serve your location. Web site also provides valuable information under "The National Clearinghouse for Long-Term Care Information," as well as a glossary of senior-related terms under the "Resources" page. The "Aging Network" page also provides a "Services Available" section that identifies and explains what is out there and available in the realm of senior care.
