Eligibility: Seniors who are 65 or older must obtain a GoRaleigh ID or GoTriangle ID card from the GoRaleigh ACCESS program. Clients must show ID to obtain GoTriangle card and must show card to the driver when boarding.

Program Description:

Operates the city bus service and GoRaleigh Connector mini-vans. For assistance in coordinating trips with other transit services in the Triangle area, try the online www.GoTriangle.org -- input your origination and destination points, and the system will tell you what buses to take, including schedules and transfers. You can also call the regional call center for help by telephone in figuring out how to get from place to place. Daily, weekly, and monthly passes for unlimited trips are available. Fares on GoRaleigh buses are now free for people over 65. Disabled riders pay reduced fares that are 50% of normal fares (see "Eligibility" section). Seniors and disabled riders must go to 222 W. Hargett St, Room 439 or mail an application to get a GoRaleigh ID that can be used on city and regional buses. Disabled riders will need to have a health care provider's signature.
