Wake County's chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a volunteer non-profit organization and Wake County's voice on mental illness. The mission of NAMI Wake County is to improve the lives of individuals and their families living with mental illness. The organization works to protect the dignity of people living with brain disorders, and their families, through advocacy, education, and group and individual support. Offers free peer and family support groups and community meetings open to the public.
