Program Description:
Multiservice agency primarily offers financial stability program and a variety of programs, including individual, family & counseling for seniors and their caregivers. Consumer credit counseling program provides consumer credit education, confidential financial counseling, No charge for initial consumer credit counseling; fees may apply for debt management program. Housing counseling program includes first-time home buyer; pre-purchase, post-purchase, default/foreclosure counseling, loss mitigation, homeless, NCHFA Home Protection Loan assessment, PEARL (loan exinguishment prog) Agency no longer provides reverse mortgage counseling. Homeless prevention program provides emergency housing assistance for families and operates a centralized intake service that can refer individuals and families to other sources of help to prevent homelessness.
