Eligibility: Seniors (age 60+) who reside in a county served by a participating utility company
Fees: Free to eligible applicants
Intake Process: Contact Resources for Seniors for Wake County residents (919-872-7933), or Area Agencies on Aging for other counties.

Program Description:
Summer program providing fans to seniors, free of charge, through funding to local Area Agencies on Aging. Can also provide window AC units, in certain areas, for clients who are critically ill or have respiratory illness. Fans and AC units are distributed by local agencies, not the state office. Operates in conjunction with Duke Energy, Dominion North Carolina Power, and Valassis Giving Committee.
