Program Description:
Carolinas Poison Center is an emergency telephone resource for poisoning information, staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by registered nurses and pharmacists who are specialists in poison information. They are specially trained to provide diagnostic and treatment advice for acute and chronic poisonings. The Center will send a "Senior Adult Pack" on request. The pack contains one each of their senior adult brochures, two phone stickers and one refrigerator magnet with emergency phone # on it.
