Program Details
Eligibility: Door-to-door senior/disabled service open to Cary residents and visitors residing within ¾ mile of fixed routes; fixed-route service open to anyone.
Fees: Door-to-door service: Tier I trip - $3 each way within ¾ mile of fixed routes. Tier II trip - $4 each way for trips outside ¾ mile of fixed routes but within town limits. Tier III trip - $6-9 each way for out-of-town trips to Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Apex.

Service Area: Destinations in Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, for elderly and disabled and employment transportation.
Program Description:
Door-to-door transportation service for Cary residents at least age 60 or disabled. Accessible vehicles are available for those in need of lift equipment; make request when making appointment. Seniors and disabled users must register at the Cary Senior Center and get a free photo ID card to use the system. GoCary will provide a free trip for registration to the Cary Senior Center: call (919) 481-2020 ext 3. Fare may be paid on the bus; exact cash or tickets required. Caregivers may ride for free with passengers who require assistance, but must be documented on their application for door-to-door service. Fixed route buses run on every half hour between approximately 6AM and 10PM Monday through Saturday, and every hour for the Maynard Loop routes between 6AM and 10PM. No reservations required for fixed route services. Maps and schedules available on the bus, or at the Cary Town Hall Finance Department or Cary Senior Center.
