Fees: Accepts “traditional” Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Tricare, and Medicaid.

Service Area: Triangle, Triad, Charlotte area, and some areas east of Raleigh
Program Description:
Large group medical practice providing home visits to patients throughout the Triangle region and other areas of NC. Comprehensive care and urgent care is available 7 days a week, with same-day or next-day appointments. Lab work and many imaging studies (EKG, ultrasound, x-rays, etc.) may be arranged in the patient's home as well. The practice waives its trip fee when it sees patients in independent and assisted living communities on its regularly scheduled visits to those communities, which is at least weekly and often twice or even three times a week, depending on the size of the community and the number of residents in the community who are patients of the practice. Accepts Medicare, all Medicare Advantage Plans, and all secondary insurers, as well as Tricare, Medicaid (Carolina Access II) and private insurance. Will file insurance paperwork. A "trip fee" of $95, not reimbursable by insurance, is charged for home visits because insurers do not pay for physician travel time.
