Program Description:

Provides demonstrations, evaluation, sales, rentals, installation, training, follow-up support and service for a variety of products and services in two primary areas: HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY PRODUCTS including Barrier Free Lifts (ceiling and floor model patient transfer lifts), bath/shower chairs and other PVC patient products, stair lifts (for curved or straight stairs), vertical platform lifts (for level changes around the home, porch to ground, garage entry to house level, etc.), home elevators (when level change is an entire story of the home), door openers, vehicle trunk lifts or trailer hitch lifts for transporting wheelchairs and power chairs, and more. Can rent lifts and ramps if appropriate. Will buy back used equipment when no longer needed. COMPUTER ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS to improve computer access and productivity including Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition software, ergonomic/ special keyboards & mice, visual enhancement products such as screen readers, hearing impairment products, etc. Also provide environmental control units (ECU) for voice control of TV, radio, door openers, bed controls, phone, etc. Also provides home modification and home repairs. They are a North Carolina Licensed General Contractor and can help with a variety of home modification, repair or improvement projects to make the home accessible. Can perform bath/kitchen remodeling to improve functionality/access and entire house remodeling for general access/safety (widen doorways, install grab bars and hand rails, build ramps, etc.). Accessibility products (like those mentioned above) can be integrated as needed and desired by client.
