Program Description:

A homeless shelter with a long-term, 12 Step based, peer-run recovery program for women with alcohol and other drug addictions, and they have an emergency shelter for women without addictions as well. Healing Transitions offers Detox, Emergency Overnight Shelter, and a long-term, 12-step based peer run recovery program for women with alcohol and other drug addictions. Participants can access Detox 24/7. Women utilizing the Emergency Shelter must be at the Women's Center of Wake County for pickup at 3:15PM. Shelter is provided one night at a time on a first-come, first-served basis. During White Flag (weather below 32 degrees, women must be at the Raleigh Rescue Mission by 6:15PM.
