Program Details

Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday
Eligibility: Low-income homeowners living in Triangle area. Household income must fall at or below 65% of the median income, must own and live in the home for at least 2 years, and property taxes must be up to date. No age restrictions.
Fees: No fees
Intake Process: Referral from agencies or can complete online application form and submit by mail or e-mail. Applications are reviewed by a committee for appropriateness.
Service Area: Wake, Durham, Chatham, and Orange counties

Program Description:

Nonprofit organization providing home repairs for low-income families in the Triangle using volunteers. Can do weatherization, ramps, accessibility modifications, roof repairs, other health-and-safety-related repairs, etc. No age limit, but priority is given to applicants who are elderly and/ or disabled.
