Intake Process: Call hotline or use website for consumer info. Also has a Spanish hotline and link to an interactive tool that provides Medicare answers and information. All counseling is provided over the phone only, as they do not have the capacity to attend walk-ins.

Program Description:

Independent, non-governmental, nonprofit organization offering free counseling, education, and advocacy to Medicare beneficiaries. A Medicare counselor on the consumer hotline can answer questions about health insurance choices, Medicare rights and protections, dealing with payment denials or appeals, complaints about care or treatment, and Medicare bills. Website offers excellent information about Medicare Part D and other Medicare questions.
