Program Description:

Personal emergency response system. A medical alert button that gives access to fast assistance. Can wear pendant as an adjustable necklace or as a wristband. The pendant weighs less than 1/2 ounce, and is waterproof so it can be worn in the shower or bath. Works from anywhere in or around the home, including basement, garage and yard. When the button is pressed, the user hears a single chime and a recorded announcement until the monitoring center comes on the line. The system no longer requires a home phone line to operate. Wireless communicator uses the AT&T wireless network if there is no home phone line. Also offers Medication Dispensing Service. This device allows a caregiver to pre-load medication doses into an automated dispenser. At the scheduled time, the device signals the client to take their medication; if they do not do so, the monitoring center contacts the client's responder. See www.managemypills.com for more information. Lifeline with AutoAlert offers a pendant-style help button that can automatically place a call for help if it detects a fall and you're unable to push the button yourself. Designed to constantly monitor person's movement/ activity and can distinguish between normal activities and most falls by constantly measuring changes in height and orientation to a horizontal position, and the acceleration of movement changes. Intelligent alarm feature allows person time to recover on their own, if they can, and avoid getting help. If the person does not push the button or get up within 30 seconds, device sends signal to auto- call Lifeline response center.
