Program Description:
Special needs transportation service, including handicapped transportation. Will transport in wheelchair but not stretchers. Will transport within and outside of Wake County. Inside Wake= $75 round trip; Wait time $25.00 (if needed). Outside Wake= $75 round trip plus $1 per mile and wait time of $25 per hour Weekend trips= $125 They have 18 drivers and need 24 hours notice. Will help clients in and out of vehicle. Can provide reduced fee for low-income clients esp between 9 AM- 1PM. Determined on a case-by-case basis.
