Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00AM to 5:00PM

Eligibility: Age 55 and older (priority given to applicants age 65 and over); low income (must meet income eligibility requirements)

Service Area: Wake, Durham, Orange, and many surrounding counties

Program Description:
This program is for unemployed individuals (age 55 and older) who are low income (less than 125% of poverty level). It provides meaningful part-time paid work experience in community services, and opportunities to obtain meaningful unsubsidized jobs in the private industry or public sector. Must be capable of performing part-time training duties. Pays minimum wage, and averages 20 hours per week. Serves Wake, Johnston, and 15 other counties.
