Program Details:
Hours: Monday - Saturday, 6:00am to 7:00pm

Eligibility: Door-to-door senior/disabled service open to Cary residents; fixed-route service open to anyone

Fees: Door to door: $2 each way within Cary for basic service; $1 each way for seniors/disabled off-peak hours, $4 each way to outside areas

Service Area: Destinations in Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, for elderly/disabled medical and employment transportation

Program Description:
Door-to-door transportation program for Cary senior citizens and persons with disabilities. $2.00 each way within Cary city limits, any destination, any purpose. Users aged 55+ or disabled can ride for $1.00 each way for in-town trips between 10:00am and 3:00pm; $4.00 each way to medical (or work for the disabled) destinations outside Cary. Accessible vehicles are available for those in need of lift equipment, make request when making appointment. Seniors and disabled users must register and get a free photo ID card to use the system. C-Tran will provide a free trip for registration to the Cary Senior Center. Fare may be paid on the bus; exact cash required. Fixed Route Services, $0.50 (9am-3pm) or $1.00 (other times) each way: Buses run on every half hour between approximately 6am and 9am and from 3pm to 7pm Monday through Saturday on the two routes listed below: North-South Route - from Harrison Square Shopping Center to Crescent Commons traveling on Harrison, Academy and Kildaire Farm Roads East-West Route - from the Cary Senior Center/Bond Park to the Cary Towne Center Mall traveling on High House, Chatham, and Maynard Roads Buses run every hour between 6am and 7pm, Monday through Saturday on the route listed below: Maynard Loop Route - travels around Maynard Road with stops also at the Cary Towne Center Mall and Crossroads Plaza No reservations required for fixed route services.
