Program Description:

This program provides medication evaluation and management services, both to RFS clients and to the general public. A licensed pharmacist is available to review medications, assist patients in understanding how to take their medications appropriately, identify any duplicate or unnecessary medications, look for potentially harmful side effects and interactions, and help the patient to find the most cost-effective medication when alternatives are available. The pharmacist also communicates with the patient's physician if any problems are identified, and follows up with the patient to see if changes have been put into place.
