Program Details
Eligibility: No referral necessary. Must live in service area and show proof of address.
Fees: None
Intake Process: Come by during open hours to apply. Bring some form of mail (i.e. electric bill) showing proof of current address. No longer requires picture ID or SSN. Must bring ID proof of residency of children living in the home.
Service Area: Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Willow Spring, Apex (also parts of Harnett Co. with Fuquay address)
Program Description:
Faith-based community organization (501(c)3) with support from a number of area churches. Provides emergency food assistance from a storeroom on Academy St. in Fuquay. Drop in during hours indicated. No referral necessary. Food donations available once every 30 days with extra bonus on holidays. With referral from helping agency, may be able to deliver food to a shut-in, if volunteers available. Welcomes donations of food or money from the community. Completely run by volunteers.
