Program Details
Eligibility: Patient must have a life-limiting illness and have chosen not to pursue aggressive treatment.
Fees: Varies by service. Covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. Also have sliding scale; will not turn away patients for inability to pay.

Program Description:
Offers hospice services to patients with limited life expectancy (less than 6 months for Medicare coverage) only palliative (comfort) care offered. Services include home health aides, skilled nursing, social work, spiritual support, volunteer helpers, pain management, etc. Same day intakes are possible. Inpatient hospice facilities in Lillington and Fayetteville. Volunteers needed to visit terminally-ill patients, provide respite for caregivers, or provide help with office tasks. Flexible schedules and training provided.
