Program Description:
Nonprofit organization seeking to help older adults by coordinating people in need with local Baptist volunteers. Call Center provides information and referral, and can attempt to find volunteers to meet a variety of needs. For example, volunteers may be able to help with occasional yardwork, light housekeeping, friendly visits, grab bar installation, smoke detector installation, wheelchair ramp labor (funding for materials not provided), occasional transportation, etc. A ministry of the Baptist State Convention of NC through Baptist Children's Homes of NC, Inc. (Church attendance not required for service.)
